edit is back 2/3 of the vote in favor Even though I'm not bound by any poll in regards to whether to allow post editing/deleting on these forums (they are semi-seperate from MARP itself), I'm going to allow it again for now. Mostly because I don't have the time to properly set up a mod or custom us...

What's the status of this? If Seymour is too busy, then I could incorporate the feature into the MARP site itself. I have a lot of time on my hands these days, and am working on the MARP site quite a lot. Allowing players to upload photos and details about themselves wouldn't be very hard to add at...

New Profiles Page?
Recently, I mentioned in #marp about writing a new MARP player profiles page. Something that each player can update on their own, instead of emailing Crash with any updates (I'm not even sure if he's still updating it - someone told me that his email is bouncing now?). So, does this sound like a goo...

Abuse. Stop it.
I'm going to ask nicely, once, that the abuse on here stop. I just had to delete a post saying bad stuff about Neill, and would rather not have to do it again. I don't want this place to degenerate into a typical emulation forum.

%mame feature addition
Finally, there will be no more waiting for me to get the game database updated on the IRC score announce bot (and game name searching), it'll pull the game name from MARP itself when possible. This also means that split games and tournament-prefixed games will also work just fine. And here's an exam...

Fixed now, though.

A handy mirror for when MARP isn't working: http://alphamame.marpirc.net Barry - if you want, I can set things up so you can use that domain and upload directly, or just let me know when you add a new file and I can quickly grab it. But I think some HTML would be nice for the page... write up some t...

Forum rearrangment
In the somewhat near future, I will probably be rearranging the forums slightly. Originally, these forums were only used for IRC stuff - when MARP itself started using them, I just added another category for that. For example, the General category isn't necessarily for IRC stuff, but that's where it...

New quotes stuff
Well, this forum doesn't get much use, but there is now an online quotes database for Lazynet - http://quotes.lazynet.org
At the moment, it's not feature complete. In the future, there will be quote browsing and searching, and the ability to associate a quote with a particular channel.

I haven't found any other website that has such a clear cut and complete info reference for all the roms. Heh. It's not like it's really some great secret or anything. :) I d...

I bet you have Windows set to not show file extensions. Enable the display of file extensions, and rename the file to 'nvram', not nvram.txt. COPY CON NVRAM at a command prompt should work too. COPY NUL NVRAM would work much better. Since you don't have to do anything else after typing the command ...
