Should we have only tournament settings at qbert? I think yes For the "qbert" romset there is already a special rule listed that says 5-man score only. I haven't looked at the other clones, but I certainly agree with LN2. Hey Rick, I finally watched a little bit of your existing MacMAME r...

Q*Bert

This is a marathon mode score, not TG settings as stated in the description. 5-man score was around 140K.

It looks like Neil did put such a comment in when he submitted it.

Very nicely done, Neil. I picked up one really nice grouping technique that will help me, too :)

Hey, someone else finally found that leeching spot :) He actually didn't milk it for very long. Back in college, I did over 7M without ever even rescueing the princess. Can't remember if I quit intentionally due to boredom or if they actually killed me. You do have to be careful using this spot as s...

Seriously, I'd need some "further bounty" to motivate me playing the game enough to beat dbh's TG record. And you realize that it the bounty was enough, I would be trying to push my score up too, right? :) :) Actually, if I ever get around to getting a Tron CP or a custom HotRod or SlikSt...

Thanks to Weehawk and competitors, especially Donald giving a toughie score to beat. When I got 40350, only 200 points short you could hear lot of Perkele's and other foul language used. I did submit a bit late though, giving only 1 hour to fight back...I just didn't want to get back to harder roms...

Funspot actually has one of these. I think I've only played it once. Don't recall seeing real feathers blown around, though :)

I just can't get past how slooooooow the ship is. Yes, compared to the real arcade machine this is really sluggish. And the real arcade machine is sluggish to begin with! Just wanted to clarify this as well, the game doesn't appear to give out the bonus man that it's supposed to after mission 5 so ...

Good performance on a really tough game, Don. Thanks! I never really played much AD in the 80's so it was fun to have a chance to improve on this one. I'll be taking the next week off from the GEGOTW. Primary reason is that the Funspot tournament starts on Thursday, and I'm planning to go to Funspo...

Please stop playing after you lose your fifth life.
Otherwise, Weehawk will be spending the next year or two watching Q*bert replays and will likely go crazy :)

I never played this game back in the 80's and have only played a few times at Funspot. I was happy to reach the top of the second building today :) OK. Now about cclimber: This is not hard game for me now. But I drink yesterday and today I probably don't beat 1st. But maybe... I prepare megaFAQ for ...

A reasonable solution that I use to get around dual booting and multiple disk partitions is to use a removeable IDE drive chassis and use separate drives for each particular OS that is required.

Congratulations again, Don.
And thanks again :)
I wonder if Cloud 9 is marathonable?
I played three or four games earlier today just to try it out. Not sure if we'll find out if it's marathonable in one week's time.

Well, it's certainly been interesting reading the various opinions and viewpoints about the structure of the leaderboard. I think what it really comes down to is that different people use the features of MARP and the leaderboard in different ways. I'm not sure who originally suggested it, but somewh...

Yes, congrats to Destructor on a fantastic Deca! His Spectar and Frenzy scores are simply incredible. I must admit I did not think Don Hayes could be beaten. Hey, I'm only human (even though some people were questioning that on the TG forum after seeing my Millipede 5-man score :) ) Hopefully you, D...
