Cleared round 5 this time. Start 666, end approx 14900. Anyone else having trouble with speed? It shows I averaged 95% so I guess it's ok. Seems especially bad after round 2 when you have 2 stix on the screen zipping around.

OK, I was hoping to at least clear 2 boards before I submitted something Finally cleared board 3, so I'll submit this until hopefully something better comes along. Start 730, end approx 12800.

I didn't figure out the frames, but I wanted to get this in before it was too late Cleared 2 rounds, so either I'm 1 place ahead of or behind colman

I get the same thing. You see him pressing fire and grenade right away on the test screen (via player inputs on that test screen)...doing that as the game boots up is what causes it to go into test mode...but yet, it looks like he's playing, as it eventually coins up and you see input on the test sc...

First try, just to at least get a submission in for possibly a few points Only cleared level 1, approx 13500 frames (start approx 2100, level 1 boss clear approx 15600)

ok, thanks for the info, caused me to retry and retry and eventually get to the root of the problem. Each time i play it back it never loaded the inp file (I could press credit immediately which means it never started playing anything back) mame30.exe ckong -playback inp/ckong DID work. The inp fil...

thanks xelnia, anyone can help out here. The rules are when three people who can't playback a recording then it is immediately zeroed (or changed to the lowest score all of them can playback to.) But, if two people can confirm a score then it will be reinstated to the advertised and playedbacked sc...

Yeah, that's all I can get too. He grabs the hammer, smashes 3 barrels, then moves around and dies. 2nd life he runs to the right, jumps, then stops,and dies. 3rd life he just sits there. (since it's obviously desync'd, it's probably doing the screen clearing sequence or 2nd screen intro at that poi...

ok, finally got it to work. I tried various combos of using the inp with and without the inp directory and .inp, sometimes it would load, but wouldn't be playing back (I could insert a credit myself) and sometimes it'd show a black screen. I renamed it ckong.inp just in case it didn't like the filen...

How are you actually running this to play it back? (i.e. what are you typing on the command line?)

I can get this one to playback if I turn off speed throttling right away and play the entire game that way. I turned it on near the end on one and it ended with 143000. But if I let him get knocked out with it off, I got 143400:
