Such hostility. I only prefer to use the 'gui', specifically the 'plus' version. I like the ease of use, graphic interface, 'goodies' and such without having to fiddle with the keyboard much(which is more in the way than not for me). I'd think not to accept scores from those versions would be worse ...

Wofmame plus
I saw a link to wolfmame plus 107 on the temp links while the news page is down, but it wasn't what it was...as far as I could tell it was still just command line. Is there a new gui version available yet that will actually work for me? None of the one's I've tried will function/unzip correctly, inc...

I'm always suspicious of the early mame scores submitted. It makes a big difference in score now that most games work at full speed now. Dips/settings are mostly correct now, with a few exceptions, but the older versions were easier difficulty as default in lots of games. Some might not differ, but ...

I could probably figure this out with some work, but not most casual users. It is work that I'm used to being done for me through the graphic interface via point and click. Keyboard is more in my way than the mouse. I hope someone makes it to wolfmameplus soon and provides it for everyone. I'm not g...

Des is right, plus if you don't already know how to use command line(nope, I don't), how would you know; the faq isn't very helpfull to me. I just introduced 2 guys to MARP and MAME, and they only can to point and click; sometimes I have to help with that to get some games going for them. I think re...

It's pretty hard for someone not to 'copy' in a platform style game, but when others learn your technique, it makes you work harder to be on top of them. That's what competition is all about. I wouldn't dare throw out a racist/ethnic slur like that here. Sometimes people beat your scores, so what, b...

If nothing preceeds it, then why the 2000-2006? Wouldn't it just be 2006? :P I have never used the commandline version. Perhaps with a couple of slow winters, I may understand it enough to give it a try. I think I'll wait for the patch; pretty sure I can figure that one out, as I do prefer the plus ...
