This was a huge change! There may be some INP movement required like the ones Barry mentioned. I'll leave it to you to determine my goofs and I'll fix them all, once we've got a complete list. Let the dust settle first!

Suggestion: Poll to determine Relief Picther Scoring

I'm not going to spilt any one game based on scoring variations alone. It's up to Marpers, without flaming I might add :), to decide how to score it. It will already have special rules, so pick one! Start a poll if you wish with only the two scoring options. I will allow simple majority to win this ...

I would say this: if playing expert mode does indeed produce SIGNIFICANTLY higher scores than normal mode -- then yes, there is a huge scoring differential and a split is warranted. As far as adding future games not released/emulated by MAME, no chance! You guys will just have to wait until an offic...

Kranser brings up a good point -- special mode could be considered hard mode.

However, if you can only go three stages, then that is a limitation that needs consideration.

Re: Pacman Max Score

He played a 3-life game....TG settings. OK, so if he played TGTS and this method does cost him a life, then a 3+1 man game gives him a "perfect" score of 13.3M (4 consecutive perfect games!). :o ...and a 5+1 man "perfect" game (6x) would be just shy of 20.0M 8O If at all possibl...

Pacman Max Score

...And definitely not the scenario that was painted at the TG forums where the player made everyone turn their heads. A shame if it's true that there is not a better way to verify the claims. Correct me if I'm wrong, Rick (LN2), but I think it was more than just making people turn their heads. Your...

Agreed -- normal mode uploads only for now on. We can "grandfather" the easy recordings thus far.

Just food for thought there... It's like saying you are presumed innocent and must be proven guilty or presumed guilty and must be proven innocent. Those are 2 entirely different things. I can't determine what is a trick, cheat or a bug, nor should I alone. That is why it must be put to vote. To co...

You did not mention 2/3 vote rule, this has not been the case from the beginning. Either did you not take a stand if the rule is right or wrong. You also did not say how this rule was formed in first place, and what was the idea behind this rule. Also there has to be noted that sometimes a differen...

You've missed that I said... 1) Everyone cool it with the foul language 2) All "tricks" permitted until banned by 2/3 vote 3) Skill level is not required to be able to vote to ban a trick and NO, a 2/3 vote can never remove a banned technique. See my post for claification of Cheating -- Ru...
