And who cares. Even if u only have time to play the game once and upload it, at least its an effort. Better to swing and miss and say u competed than wally out.

Re: MARP Survivor - Round 1
Don't take it too seriously. A few years back I sat down with like 8 of my family members and played the board game version of Survivor. The game sucked bad and I bitched all the way through the first phase of it. Naturally because of this I was the first to get voted off. Come to find out my own m...

There are a lot less recordings being uploaded these days, activity is way down... While this may be attributed to lack of interest here in the short term, in the long term uploads must go down do to the fact that scores are becoming harder to beat. With every upload the difficulty for beating the ...

And NO, you obviously don't have a firm understanding of the issues if you believe 1-1-1 scoring is the same as cutoff after 3rd. I'm sick of you already. Ok.... stop that talk.. there is no need to use that kind of language here. We all understand your point and what you think. Use the PM button i...

someone with 400 7th place scores would be tough to beat, even though I might have 20 first places. As far as Im concerned someone who has invested the time and patience to upload 400 7th place scores should be ranked higher. 400 inp submissions is right arround 10% of the games represented in mame...

Ive noticed lots of people suggesting that the leaderboard isn't important. That its not indicative of what MARP is and is suppose to be. That if you're just submitting for leaderboard points then you shouldn't be submitting etc etc.... If so why all the controversey, discussion and voting on this t...

Dax: If someone is capable of getting that many 2nd place scores, then they are certainly capable of getting some 1sts. This proposed system would provide a bit more motivation for them to get off their arse and stop settling for second. Yes they certainly are. However my point was to illustrate ho...
