Re: TEN YEARS OF MARP

10 years.

Oh for the easy days of < 30 games with recordings and me and Zwax keeping all submitted recordings confirmed between the two of us...

Long live MARP!!!

Cheers,
BeeJay.

Re: galap1

Yup, I was really in the zone on that last ship and when I finally did lose it it was such a stupid loss as well..... but then I was feeling a little guilty as my wife had been waiting "a while" for me to "just finish my last ship" so we could watch CSI together.... she probably ...

Re: Passing shot (passsht)

Players allowed to wear something other than white and/or allowed to have sponsors advertising showing on their clothing?

Just some wild guesses from a bored BeeJay, I haven't bothered to try and find any YouTube vids or anything!!

Cheers,
BeeJay.

Re: Which controllers/joystick do you recommend?

I've had a HotRodSE for about 7 or 8 years now and it certainly improved the playability in a number of games, although I still prefer the keyboard for some games, especially 4 directional games such as Frogger. Probably the main annoying things are: 1. No USB support - can't use it on my newer lapt...

Re: [UPDATED 2008-01-15] Forum upgrades

looks good so far...but I am having trouble visually seeing where 1 post ends and the next starts. IS there a way to change color scheme for that element so you see a definitive line between posts or threads etc. in listings? might just take darkening up that extremely light blue a little bit. very...

Actually it is now in your clipboard ready to be pasted into a program capable of displaying it. Try opening MS Paint ...

If the game allows it, why would it not be?!?

Everyone else is free to do the same, for the sacrifice of easy 1600 point bubble points off the earlier stages of course......

I would have been in, albeit probably not for many rounds, but unfortunately I'm finally going to make that trip to Aussie with my family for a couple of weeks in October. It would be unfair to the other competitors if I was to start the competition and survive some of the early rounds, thereby knoc...

not that looking at the emulation would answer this entirely, it could just wrap around the 32 bit max number, and either not go higher than 2 billion or 4 billion. Hm.... it's an 8bit processor, so I wouldn't have thought they would have done all that effort to handle their own 32bit numbers. Just...

I always thought that using player 2 the score only showed 1 more place. but maybe no one ever played it beyond 10 million so we wouldn't know. :P ... there's already a 20 million point score on Marp for the fast shooting version of Galaga. So we already knew the 8th digit was supported. Here's ano...

Or we could simply adjust the existing scores to that achieved after 5 lives.... I also have no problems with my Gyruss or Juno First scores being adjusted to the 5 lives values.
