Another upgrade. You can tell I haven't played the train level much. Just messing around, I'm pretty sure I can duplicate my performance now.

Bumping myself up the ladder a little.

Very sad ending, but on the other hand, my enchiladas were finished in the oven so I'd have had to quit anyway.

Just watched dbh's recording. Level 21 is nuts. 8O

I'm a little confused -- didn't the world record go past a million? If it doesn't record, how do you know what the score is?

I also have a great deal of Toobin' trouble, but rolling back to wolf99 seems to cure everything.

Just a word of warning since you mentioned that game: the Pole Position wheel was able to turn 360 degrees, while most (all?) modern computer wheels have limits as to how far they can turn.

Re: Golden Era Game of the Week 8/13/05: Red Baron

With David Palmer I actually was meaning a videotaped submission to TG, not a MARP one to this contest.

Re: Golden Era Game of the Week 8/13/05: Red Baron

Do you know if David Palmer plans to make an official submission of a million+ score?

Not going to have time to play, classes started this week and I'm swamped with lesson planning and such. :(

"On Deck" game: Red Baron Feh, I might have to try squeezing in some time when this one comes up. (A quick warning about something non-obvious in Red Baron: the controls seem to require 'calibration' at the start, so you should give your joystick a few swirls right after you boot the game ...

Arch Rivals

MondoMondillo's latest Arch Rival recordings (archrivl and archriv2) play the full game, not just one quarter's worth.

I don't mind going to full game on this (and it would be in line with what's been done with the other sports games) but it needs to be in the rules first. 8)
