Re: T13 - Global ranking
Just out of curiosity, why does my 28-day projected total for Super Punch-Out show only 2 points when I got 4 points in the 1st week? It's the only one for all of the entries that has the 28-day total less than the rest added up.

Re: Gyruss: Vote
Also, I'm at work currently so can't check this but does anyone know what score is the "maximum" you can get without having enough points to have earned a 6th ship, so we know which scores we don't even need to review as they only had 5 or less ships anyway for that score?. assuming they'...

Re: Gyruss: Vote
Is there gonna be a note attached in the scores showing the original score, and it was changed to 5-man only? That'd leave the score for historical purposes, even if it wasn't ranked by it.

Re: T13 - Round 3 - spnchout
Desync's for me right away on the first opponent. It gets a few good blows in, up to having KO lit, then Bear Hugger gets a couple hits, then I hear the horn that goes off when you hit the knock out button without KO being lit, then gets knocked out 3 times quickly and the game ends.

Re: T13 - Round 3 - spnchout
FYI: giro-X, I had a weird recording speed on my submission for Super Punch-out because I accidentally hit the windows key, minimizing MAME, while I was in the heat of battle ;) I'm surprised I did as well as I did (I almost knocked him out, which I have yet to do). I still submitted it since it was...

Re: T13 - Round 3 - spnchout
I think so. It's mapped to <space> by default for me, and when I hit that button, it just makes a light horn sound, which I think it does when you don't have KO lit up.kernzy wrote:thanks for 8that, KCF8!
that helps.
so button 3 is a knock out button?

Re: T13 - Round 3 - spnchout
On a real cab, the joystick is a 5-way. Left and right make you dodge left and right, up and down either guard up or down, or use in conjunction with the left/right buttons for upper cut/body blow. If you pull up on the joystick, you duck, and there's also a separate KO button for knock out blows on...

Re: T13 - Round 3 - spnchout
If my latest score plays back properly [dear God please!], I'd suggest taking a quick watch. It's probably not as good as it could be, but it shows the rough idea. The whole Dragon Chan fight was a holy crap moment too! Too bad I almost choked on Vodka.... and Tiger can blow me. x.x;; yeah, I alrea...

Re: T13 - Round 3 - spnchout
Is it bad that I can't even knock out the first guy? I hate to even turn in a score that low

Re: Nato Defense
I have no idea when they switched, that's why I was asking if there was a way to tell ;) I just noticed it because I'd downloaded a replay from m37b7 and another from mame60. I haven't went thru and downloaded all of them, but I can I guess. Still doesn't help to know when they actually switched tho...

Re: Nato Defense
If nothing was swapped, why do they have different mazes between mame060b (1st pic) and m37b7 (2nd pic). Both were run using "mame natodef". If I run "mame natodefa" on mame060b, I get the maze from m37b7 natodef. Incidentally, the default top score has the initials "PL"...

No, i just like Crazy Kong..can't you tell by my username? I just figured rather than choose the easy version, which takes an hour or so to kill screen, I'd chose Big Kong instead.

Some of you will probably hate some of these choices
Big Kong (bigkong) (clone of Crazy Kong with much harder levels)
Jr. Pac-man (jrpacman)
Stocker (stocker)

Nato Defense
Was playing around with this game, and noticed the ROM's were swapped around at one point. The original natodef at some point was renamed natodefa (alternate maze) and another set named natodef. Don't know which version it changed though, how do you figure that out? I do know the top score for natod...
