I haven't had any problems with different versions of MAME having to be in different directories, but then again I don't play 99% of the games either. (Anymore at least :P) System 12 is a slow driver... I could record it without toggling the interlace feature (found in the F2 service menu), but the ...

mrdrillr - any inps playback successfully?

Has anyone been able to get a successful Mr. Driller .inp that'll playback consistantly? It runs at 100% on 0.103, but it always seems to desync at 200m on the short mode, and at 400m on the long mode... both of these are the level where there are only 2 colors for the blocks.

I noticed in my recording that frameskip is important. What frameskip did you record this at?

I tried with and without sound on wolfmame 89, nothin. I remember when I played this (practically) exact same version on the Atari 130XE... If it's one thing I remember from those days, the controls are really touchy, you never know if you're going to not move, move correctly, or move too far. The e...

Well, the "speedup hack" in the arcade versions wasn't a dip switch (at least the two machines I saw anyway), so even calling it a dip switch in the first place would be incorrect. As I understand it, Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, and Puck-Man all got shiney new fast ROM sets, and as such mspacman...

I know since it's starred it's not really important.... But can other people play back my jrpacman-fast recording? I know that with the changes the other pacman roms don't work like they used to... but jrpacman seems to me to not be affected by this change. http://marp.retrogames.com/index.cgi?mode=...

Well I gotta side with Barry on this one. But the DEFCON's starting to get a little low over here, especially after having a recording deleted. I have since went ahead and deleted the rest of my baseball recordings until things start to make some sense around here. Not even starting to get into the ...

If you're allowed to continue the current game with a coin by the ROM, then that should be allowed by MARP. If the game is over and you're not allowed to continue the current game with a coin by the ROM, then that should be game over, and it's time to report your score. The inning number that happen...
