So some recent happenings over on Shmups Forum have brought up a question for me that doesn't appear to have a clear answer. As I'm sure you're all aware, vanilla MAME uses INP version 3.0, whereas WolfMAME uses INP version 3.5. My question is, what exactly are the differences between the two?

There do exist clone ROM sets for Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and Jr. Pac-Man with the speedup chip (puckmanf, pacmanf, mspacmnf, and jrpacmanf).
