Re: How to View INP?

How is it being run otherwise, such that options are set differently? You could try other renderer backends, either -video opengl or -video bgfx BGFX itself supports various graphic APIs, via the -bgfx_backend option, either d3d9 (Windows only), d3d11 (Windows only), opengl, gles, metal (OS X only),...

Re: Request: WolfMAME Linux Binaries

Source download seems to work via the Wayback Machine https://web.archive.org/web/20090308015400/http://x.mame.net/download.html I don't think I did upload the source diff anywhere (unless I forgot that I did, although I suppose I must have if someone's updated it) I don't think I can enable the fil...

Re: Request: WolfMAME Linux Binaries

You'll probably want an older GCC (about 4.x). XMAME doesn't use SDL, from what I remember.
I'm not sure on any other dependencies, but what documentation there is, should be in the XMAME source package.

Re: Request: WolfMAME Linux Binaries

I wouldn't really recommend 0.106, since it is woefully out of date (and I can't run it, due to missing 32-bit outdated libraries, unlike current MAME where most libraries are compiled in) I forget exactly when it happened, but there was a bugfix to consistently handle diagonals on 4-way joysticks, ...

Re: Request: WolfMAME Linux Binaries

Arch is currently on GLIBC 2.31 (I update once a week, so haven't upgraded to that yet), 2.30 has been used since September. I seem to remember there is a way to static link glibc, which will remove the dependency on modern glibc. Qt5 is not strictly required, it is used just for the debugger. MAME ...

Re: Request: WolfMAME Linux Binaries

I think Dreamhost have disabled doing a file list when there is no index page. Files should still be available, though. As far as distros go, I use Arch Linux, which pretty much lets you setup the type of environment you want. It's not really a distro for those unfamiliar with Linux, however. But yo...

Re: Wolfmame on Android and/or Raspberry

Pi should be doable, it should just build and run fine (hopefully). Cross-compiling would probably be more efficient if you can get that set up.

Going to give this MARP stream idea thing a shot in about 10-15 minutes. Check https://www.twitch.tv/mahlemiut if you're curious (or whatever)

Re: Wolfmame on Android and/or Raspberry

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any advancements in MAME's Android support recently. :(

Re: Illegal usage of MARP content on YT channel

I've kinda been thinking about maybe streaming some INPs (as I look at confirming the scores), or at least those replays that are interesting, or just plain impressive. Not sure how great an idea it might be, just putting it out there.

Looks like there's some confusion there between Big Bang Bowling and Battle Bricks.

Abscam is classified as a clone of "puckman", so it uses that screenshot even though they don't look alike. I think the website's code looks for "abscam.gif" first, and only use "puckman.gif" if it doesn't find anything under the clone's name. Let's find out.
The answer would seem to be "yes".

Re: No Shot Available

Ok, I tried to simply upload the scyclone GIFs to see if that was all that was needed (in case the shots had to be connected to the database somehow). Seems like uploading is indeed all that is needed. If someone wants to produce the missing shots (in both 128 and 256 max width or height, GIF format...
