Re: Statistics

Try putting the full old URL of the MARP site in here, or the old URL of the link you want in here http://www.archive.org/web/web.php It might kick off the old site.. It seems like its only text based, but it might still work, looks like it backed up some sites twice monthly, my very old site showed...

Re: [K9] Round 5 - Donkey Kong (US set 1) [dkong]

Figures...now that I'm out, you pick something I'd actually enjoy playing  You're not quite out yet, you are in the Continue bracket with me and gurk, which means if you get I think, top 7 in continue bracket, you go on in the competition. I suck at DK, don't know how good Gurk is though, but...

ROM Never downloaded! Hate SF type games with a passion. I pissed on one once, at Skegness Pier, just to make the people who like playing them have to put up with the smell of stale piss.

I really, really, really, really hate Street Fighter type games with a passion.

I'd rather have herpes than play one. I'm out.

Re: [K9] Round 3 - Slap Fight (Japan set 1) [slapfigh]

Hey guys, I really hate that we didnt stick with games unique to wolfmame 106. Me and Hatchett were playing this tournament on a nice mame cabinet and now we're having a hard time getting a different version to function on the cab without a front end we can actually see and use on the old rastar mo...

Re: An advice to Hotrod PS/2 -controller owners

It is true now. I've also aquired a hotrod like stick that uses usb, the response seems to be ok now, haven't tested it thorougly but I see no obvious differences between ps/2 and usb, since i still use my ps/2 hotrod aa it works well as long as a keyboard is connected :) The keyboard probably need...

Re: [K9] Round 3 - Slap Fight (Japan set 1) [slapfigh]

I did have the above problem like I said, but go into Windows control panel/game controllers, and really configure/calibrate the joypad, move the analog thumb sticks around when it says Press all directions on the Dpad, try to get it in the centre and move it in all 4 corners.

This sometimes works.

Re: [K9] Round 3 - Slap Fight (Japan set 1) [slapfigh]

Not sure if it is a ROM issue, but whatever front-end I try my ship moves itself to the extreme right edge of the screen and won't move left. Running Win Vista if anyone has any clues / pointers. <edit> OK, I think that it may be a ROM issue - same issues when running directly from command prompt -...

Re: [K9] Round 3 - Slap Fight (Japan set 1) [slapfigh]

C:\Mame\wolfmame140\mame.exe slapfigh -record slapfigh.inp

thats the easiest way to do it.

or copy the below text and save it as RECORD.BAT using notepad, into the wolfmame140 directory and run that everytime you try. The output will be in the INP directory.

mame slapfigh -record slapfigh.inp

Re: [K9] Round 2 - Go Go! Mile Smile (gogomile)

Im gonna pass on this game I think, so thats me out of K9. Was expecting more of a random game choice but they seem like they are all post 1989, are games no one has really heard of before, and are similar in game play. Wonder what puzzle platformer is next for Round 3? Good look to everyone else. :D

Re: [K9] Round 1 - Magical Crystals (mgcrystl)

Have submitted my 1st score. 176k The upload says you have used Wolf 105, but Wolf 106 is needed for the K9. Hope you made a mistake when choosing the version when uploading, if so, reupload it man. This game really does look like, and play like the game called Marchen Maze (Japan), but Magical Cry...
