Re: golden tee

BTW: Golden Tee just made the Guiness 'top 100' list...its a strange list. The list has been reproduced on CAG forums in the following thread: http://www.classicarcadegaming.com/foru ... 565.0.html

Re: golden tee

Ah, you're using a trackball...more control and swing space than a mousepad allows me. I still think there's probably an analog tweak that would allow further drives with the mouse, but it's not in my current MAME options(greyed out button). I'm unable to get anywhere near your drives with the mouse...

Re: Which controllers/joystick do you recommend?

I still stand by the X-arcade. I have (2) 2-player models. I wore out a couple of buttons in 4-5years, and a rubber foot. When I told them, they honored their warrantee(lifetime...of the company I assume) and sent me a pack of 6 buttons and a set of new feet. Zero stick problems to date...the only d...

Classic Arcade Gaming (dot com) 2008 Contest

Hello everyone. I've been away from this forum for a while, but haven't forgotten you guys. I just wanted to see if anyone here would be interested/able to attend a contest. Contest dates are not set firmly yet, but would probably be in the last Fri/Sat/Sun of March. Contest location is tentatively ...

Perhap someday, I will be at the right place/time for someone to walk me through it. I tend to be wary of any 'builds' that I don't get directly from this site.

mmf is still crap. No ability to select 'available' games or controllers w/o entering multiple commands? The other frontends I have been using quit working at 118. Too bad Plus versions aren't still around.

Easymame is pretty close to the 'plus' experience. I tried a few frontends when they killed the plus versions, and this was the best for me.

does this mean that all roms that have used seperate bios.zip will now have to be updated to run on 118 and later, or is there a new bios.zip that has all of them in it? For pain in the ass-ness, I'll assume the first. 118 crashes everytime for me, and Phil says it's running some games slow(though i...

I haven't had any experiences where cheats were enabled by default in any gui/mame32 versions except 1. That 1 was sent to me to try by a friend...he just zipped his and sent it, so he must've turned them on on his prior to sending to me. All of the wolfmames have cheats off during recording, wasn't...

I don't think RR uses nvram; at least it doesn't generate one for me.

How about score divided by frames times a constant sufficient to give a whole number.
