Re: We are very close to the end of civilization...

BTW, the record for sleep deprivation, for those who think that no one can stay awake, much less play a game, for a week, is 11 days !! That's over a week and a half !! Yes, but they weren't prevented from being cattle-prodded, drenched with water, fed or anything by others. I'm sure Todd's maratho...

Mark and I talked about this during the "Legends of the Golden Age" contest in Houston,TX. When he showed me the CC pic with the money, he didn't mention the other challenges, but we have talked alot about CC play. A world record crystal castles game is just over 5/6 minutes. If someone bo...

I just played it back, or rather I tried(3x) and different score each time?? I didn't even recall playing it, but there was 1 play on the meter. When submission was made(default 1st), there were no special rules posted, so that was probably the last 'score' shown...this game makes little sense. Go a...

proper as in not just a cheesy set of 20#'s in sequence or at least a set big enough so you don't notice a pattern easily.

don't the better gambling/poker games use proper random #'s? It seems like gambling either way. There are many that are no brainers though.

I would assume the difficulty switches control how often great hands come up, kinda like how the deck is rigged in poker/wins frequency on a slot? Some of the scores are a whopping '1'. Even some of the comments state constant cards/tiles. I like mahjong, but it just doesn't make for competitive vid...

I feel I should mention that leaderboard is only reason marp interested me in the first place...otherwise I'd just play at home and submit only to TG for records. LB is the only thing that got me away from pc/online games and it's likely what I'd go back to if it was removed/eliminated. I rarely loo...

pars range from 68 to 73 in golden tee. I did see that blost has played and uploaded; surprised to see him vote yes, though. You played golden tee, but did you make an upload? I don't think there's a ton of difference on most(not all) courses withing a parent/clone; probably not much more than betwe...

I wouldn't have a problem with splitting any game(provided there is difference w/character such as gauntlet), but mahjong is just chinese poker(they just don't make good video gameplay unless you're playing with friends as opponents). Des, what's your take on the hangman/trivia crap games...only so ...

I know the golf turned me off a little at first, too. It really is a fun passtime kinda game(you even have time for a couple smokes or phone calls during the game). I much prefer computer golf to the real thing. I don't know your ages(I'll assume most here are 20-40), but there is more to playing a ...

and what about all of my(and gerhard et al)'s work on golf? But, to keep on topic, I'm sure most feel the same about the mahjongs and trivia titles. The time has come to deal with these also. This may sound like sour grapes, but so be it. The big problem is with no competitive value, these games hav...

and of course none of the people voting to change(yes) have even bothered to play a game of golden tee either. I don't see much point in wasting time on marp in the future if only to get screwed when something works to my favour. Evidently, if you can't beat a score, get it archived.
