I work with a lot of Poles, and they are disgusted, absolutely disgusted. And I can't slag them or give them some World Cup banter/abuse cos Ireland didn't Yea same here, I'm from Wales and I'm 26 and I dont think Wales have qualified for the world cup in my lifetime. :( Still, Poland have lost 2 g...

I myself have never found a game that runs better in one version over another. Mabye if the game was pretty processor heavy, with games running on Namco hardware like Tekken. Other than that, games like Bubble Bobble and Shinobi run fine on my xp64 3200 regardless of the version im using... :P That ...

otherwise...why would you submit scores using 4 different version of mame on the same day( I have seen this.)? The only real reason I can think of is default settings are different mabye or in some cases the game might perform better. But then a game like marvel super heroes is not that demanding t...

Mame versions...

Does anyone have some sort of preference towards particular versions of wolfmame or something? It's just that I came across Morenos latest high score on Marvel Super Heroes that was recorded with mame61..., why mame61 exactly!?!? I ask this mainly because Wolfmame 106 is available, so why record wit...

Nah I didn't use fs0, I only use it on games that are processor heavy and I never play games without recording so they never generate nvram files in my experience at least. It playsback OK at my end, I'll try re-recording with .105 or .106 when I get the chance.

Slipstream Game Mode Split (slipstrm)

The game has three modes.

1: Time Trial with x 4 different tracks.
2: Championship, 4 races but need to finish in top 3 to advance.
3: Passing Mode, 4 races I think but u need to pass a certain amount of cars to advance.

At present all submissions have been based on the Germany track in time trial.

Why don't we just ban uppercuts and roundhouse kicks in Double Dragon as well? Why not just say Sega did a poor job of designing the scoring system and leave it at that? Double Dragon is easy to complete, if everyone is completing a game then I personnally don't see any problem with players finding...

OK, i've just literally walked through a stage and thrown everyone with Max and found a really dodgy bug mabye? When you jump and throw with max, if you keep tapping punch button 600-700 points just magically appear in your score. This doesn't happen with any other character just Max. The replay att...

Sorry if it seems like im attacking you Pat, but just so you know I'm not :) If you have been playing the game as long as I have Pat, you know which enemies you take a risk of taking a hit from when walking or jumping into them. ;) So I wouldn't really class it as skill, more like knowledge. :P Its ...

Streets of Rage 2 - Score System

First time i've ever done this so here goes. Personally I think the in game scoring in this game is crap, players are rewarded more points for just throwing opponents instead of punching them in the face which is just wrong in my book. Throwing is easily done and doesnt require much skill, its done ...
