Re: Power Instinct 3

I just played it back four times in a row, same settings, same everything. The result was four different scores:

466K
608K (Yep, this is the advertised score)
153K
150K

All the time without frameskip, no throttling, no pausing. I guess there is a random element lurking somewhere.

Same thing for me, even after some playing around with different options.

Re: Translation help for deroon

I tried out the courses.

Practice course is only three levels and easy to finish. You aren't allowed to enter the high score list, though.

Can't find any difference between standard and advanced so far. But on the other hand, I only survive the first few stages.

Set renaming question (Solomon's key)

I've been gone for a while and have forgotten how to handle set renames. Massimo Gaspari has the first place on Solomon's key (solomon): http://marp.retrogames.com/r/solomon He played with Wolf106. But solomon was renamed to solomonj in 0.109. So, the game he plays is really called solomonj now. Sho...

Re: Torus - Abbe 4,581,000

I do around level 25 and over 3 million consistently, now. Anything under 4 millions just isn't good enough. Rule 2n: n) Submit only games that you feel are worthy of the notice of other MARPers, owing either to personal effort, or display of skill. Not that I or everyone else always remember that. ...

Nope. I don't think anyone will. I seem to have zipped the wrong recording. Unfortunately, the correct one is gone.

I'll zero it down and try to do a new one.

Sorry!

Re: K7 - LIST OF PLAYERS

I, too, was in the first tournament. Didn't do as well as Arjen, though. Maybe this time. :)

Count me in.

I'm from Sweden, btw.

That's it for me, this week. Congratulations saru! Thanks, Abbe. Do you not have time to play? No, life is still upside down. Signing up for this tournamet was probably a mistake. And the little time I play, I have to use a laptop with a trackpoint which is not exactly optimal for this game. :-) An...

Puzzle = fucked game. Metrackle and Abbe are puzzle-masters. Well, thinking that way, every other kind of game is fucked for me, with you being the master. (Not to mention that you took first place the last time you crowned me puzzle-master.) :-) Anyway, I feel lucky having a puzzle game this week,...

I make too many mistakes. The motorbike is more forgiving than the falcon, so I think I'll stick to it.

It was kind of fun just looking around the game for shortcuts. Here is a finished game. Guess I have to start working on actually driving now. :-)
