Part for home console needed

Hello, I seem to be missing a part from my arcade panel. it is a small box/switch that goes underneath the joystick, it is maybe about 1" long, with a little metal piece coming out the side that acts as a lever. I'm guessing many of you will know what I'm talking about. There are supposed to be...

A 49-way joystick on MAME

From this page: http://urebelscum.speedhost.com/49waySticks.html#49wayGames ...it says this: 49-way sticks connected as Analog Joysticks Rather than attaching a 49-way stick directly, it can also be connected to the computer as an analog joystick. You can build your own circuit, or buy one from Dave...

Re: Which controllers/joystick do you recommend?

Can anybody recommend a nice flight-stick for games like TRON, DISCS OF TRON or SATANS HOLLOW? I was a victim of the SlikStik disappearing act myself; I had sent in my broken flight-stick in for repair...and never got it back! Before I knew what was happening, SlickStick was T.U. Right now, a...

Re: Has anyone heard of MR. DRILLER?

Thanks Tommi :D

Sorry to take up forum space for a basic question, but like I said, my internet access is slim to none

Feel free to delete this thread as you see fit.

Thanks,
Robert*

Has anyone heard of MR. DRILLER?

Can anyone provide some basic high-score info for MR. DRILLER? (MAME, Arcade, etc.) I have a friend who says he is good at the game, and wants to know what the high-scores are, as well as have some competition on the game. I would do this myself but I have no home internet access, and virtually all ...

HELP with Marvel Super Heroes

Hello, My son really loves the Marvel Super Heroes (rom = MSU) fighting game. However, he is only 6 years old and he (actually we) can’t do whatever button combination is necessary to do the “special weapon” (Infinity combo?) move (i.e. – Iron Man & his ‘Proton Cannon’, Captain America & his...

Starting MAME on 107 & up

Hello, How do you start MAME in version 107 & up? There used to be and 'application' icon you could double-click to fire up MAME in Windows, but I don't see that now. When I double-click the 'mame' application file now, I get a message that I need to type it in a command prompt in DOS. Obviously...

yes...once a couple loops it likely plays similar for both settings...but at the 3 setting you can build up a lot more men early in the game which might be the difference between getting past those later waves or not. That is correct. By about wave 6 (possibly even earlier) on Difficulty level 10, ...

That is exactly my point, on all accounts.

Hi guys, I may have made my post prematurely or out of context, but the point I was trying to make was that if the recordings in question (SLA's & PoP's) were achieved at a lower difficulty, and the rules have since changed, shouldn't they be removed? I say this because it is not representative ...

Hi Robert, Yes, if a recording is against the rules, you can discuss it at regulation forum or simply ask an editor to zero it. For example, BBH is an editor. Remember this Robotron thread: http://forums.marpirc.net/viewtopic.php?t=12237 We thought that with improved? emulation, diff=10 would still...

Marp never banned the coconut jumping tactic.

You cannot get extra lives from doing it, and it isn't that easy to do.
True, it was not banned by MARP. However, it defeats the purpose of progressing into the game. It just seems a bit of a cheesy way to play.

Removing invalid scores

Hello to the MARP powers that be. I was curious as to whether or not some of the scores listed on the MARP site that were not done using the adopted rules will be removed? For instance: Matt Hall just posted a 1 million+ game on Robotron on level 10. Yet, there are two scores above his that did not ...

Daddy - o, crybaby tells ou that random prize is difficult this week .... Reaching the beer screen? Dang, I wouldn't have thought that one was relatively hard. If no one does it, everyone who submits will be eligible. Reaching the Beer screen is fairly difficult, though it is the easiest of t...

Okay, that seems to work. I thought I had tried that before, but I guess not. Interesting...does it do that on all games now?

Anyways, THANKS AS USUAL!!
