Blitz Frogger is a totally different game. :P Don Hayes holds the record for most points within exactly 1 hour -- 216990 that's under 28 min for every 100K!! Wow. I just watched mickey@jvrm.net 355680 inp, it's basically a single-ship score; he dies once, gets stripped of the satellites and barrier, and the game whoops his ass four times in a wink. And he ends first stage which appears to be played with full confidence well below 61K. Well, the good news...

Watching it again it looks like at least in a few points the pauses are due to getting either a good position or a clear path before the rain of objects starts again... but in others it is already raining cats and dogs. I can also play back the 9897200 robocopj, always with xwolfmame 0.104 under Fedora 9.
Using wolf106 under Wine, it fails for me as well - the player dies in this game at the end of the 2nd stage, with the armored van coming in.

I just played back _successfully_ the 9913700 robocop inp using xwolfmame 0.104 with the 0.106 rom; he completes in 32m35s... I F10'd a bit because there are apparently places in the game where you don't do anything and points get racked up ?
